Second Quarter-Century Campaign
The Music Guild is about to enter its Second Quarter-Century of presenting
outstanding programs of live classical music to our West Los Angeles
audience. As we enter our Second Quarter-Century, we have developed some
ambitious goals and we hope you will help us reach those goals by the
end of our 25th year, in 2010.
What we want to do
- Develop music outreach programs such as an Annual Concerto
Competition and an Annual Composition Competition for young performers
and composers in the Westside area
- Reach out to low-income seniors and those with transportation
issues to assist them in attending Music Guild concerts
- Increase our advertising and marketing budgets in order to increase
walk-in patrons by 50% and Music Guild subscribers by 25% in the next
two years
- Hire a part-time staff person to help coordinate Music Guild programs
and activities and provide support with office administration, development,
marketing and subscriber services
- Continue to engage the best musicians for The St. Matthew’s
Chamber Orchestra
- Continue to present first-class guest ensembles and soloists
What we need you to do
From all of us at St. Matthew’s Music Guild, thank you for your
support!
