Welcome to Saint Matthew's!

Sunday ServiceIf you are new to our parish, welcome! We hope that you will feel at home here and we encourage you to participate in the full range of our services, classes, small groups, and outreach ministries to the West Side and beyond. Our web site will give you more information about ways to get involved in our parish’s life of worship and service.

For a more personal welcome to our parish, please contact The Reverend Michael Seiler in the Parish Office at 310/573-7787 ext. 123 or via email. Michael is always happy to set a time to meet you, answer any questions you may have about Saint Matthew’s or about the Episcopal Church, and assist you in becoming a member of our parish.

About Membership at Saint Matthew's

In keeping with the parish bylaws and the canon law of the Episcopal Church, there are four requirements for maintaining active membership at Saint Matthew's:

• the recording of one's name on the parish's register of baptized members;

• regular participation in Sunday worship,

• involvement in a parish activity or ministry, and

• making an annual financial pledge in support of Saint Matthew's.

You don't need to have been baptized or confirmed as an Episcopalian in order to become a member of Saint Matthew's.
